Level 2 Award in Food Safety in Catering/Manufacturing 

All Food Safety Training Courses are now available for 2018.

This qualification focuses expressly on the needs of food handlers in the catering and hospitality sectors, it enables employees to take responsibility for following food safety procedures; to receive and store food safely and to keep themselves clean and hygienic.

Duration: 1 day

Assessment: 30 question multiple choice examination paper.

Cost: £50 per person

Venue: Stockton 6th Form Centre (Education Centre)

Level 3 Award in Supervising Food Safety in Catering

This is designed for managers and supervisors or anyone who requires a broad understanding of food hygiene. It is particularly relevant for those who have to develop or monitor HACCP based food safety procedures and systems.

Duration: 3 days

Assessment: 60 question multiple choice examination paper

Cost: £290 per person

CIEH Level 2 Award in Nutrition (Healthier Food & Special Diets)

This provides a good basic understanding of nutrition and is targeted towards catering establishments particularly those who have a captive audience; school catering staff who would like to learn to plan well-balanced meals and have a positive impact on pupils' health would definitely benefit from attending this course as would individuals who are involved in the selection of menus, recipes and ingredients.

CIEH Level 3 in Training Principles and Practice (Formally Prof Trainer Cert)

This qualification is ideal for anyone who wishes to become a registered trainer with the CIEH. It extends basic training techniques by encouraging a dynamic and flexible approach to training delivery.

Duration: 3 days

Assessment: Design and delivery of a short training session

Cost: £420 per person


Food Allergen Training

Every member of staff need some understanding of food allergens and their possible consequences. This course provides a basic understanding of food allergies/intolerances, foods involved, symptoms, legislation and how to control allergens.

Duration: 1/2 Day

Cost: £50 per person

HABC course

Duration: 2 Days

Cost: £300


Level 3 Award in HACCP

Expands on the fundamentals of the level 2 Haccp - Suitable for supervisors, managers, chefs and Haccp team members.

Duration: 3 days

Assessment: 60 question multiple choice examination paper

Cost: £400 per person


Highfield Level 4 Award in Food Safety Management for Catering / Manufacturing (RQF)

This training course is designed with management accountability in mind. It is intended to provide those in managerial and supervisory positions with appropriate knowledge to ensure that their company operates in a hygienic and efficient manner.

On completion of this course you would then be able to deliver the Level 2 Award in Food Safety in catering/manufacturing (with appropriate training skills).

Duration: 5 and 1/2 days

Assessment: Written examination paper

Cost: £500 per person

Progression: CIEH Level 3 Award in PTLLS & TSP

RIPH Level 2 Foundation Certificate in HACCP Principles

This qualification is designed for those who work in the food industry who require an appropriate level of knowledge and understanding of HACCP.

Holders of this qualification will have a basic knowledge and understanding of the importance of HACCP as a preventative.
