Government Pothole Fund

Local roads and footways are used by most people on a daily basis and are fundamental to the economic, social and environmental well-being of the communities they serve.

The Government have recently announced the creation of a Pothole Fund worth £200 million, with £168 million being made available (2014/15 financial year) to highway authorities in England to help repair damage to the local road network.
