Pay or appeal your Penalty Charge Notice (PCN)

Please be advised that as of 17/02/2020 we will no longer be accepting correspondence regarding a PCN via email or phone, if you believe you should not have been issued with a PCN you can appeal this by using the Pay/Appeal date picker above.

Completing the online PCN form

Completing the online PCN form is easy and secure. You will need the 10 digit penalty charge notice number from the parking penalty notice. We accept credit and debit cards.

You can object to the penalty, send a message and view the Council's photographic evidence. Online details will be available 24 hours after the penalty charge notice was issued.

View the Council's Parking Enforcement Policy for further information.

Car Parking PCN Charges

A penalty charge of £50 or £70 can be issued dependent upon the seriousness of the parking contravention. A parking penalty will be reduced by 50% if the charge is paid within 14 days. If a parking penalty is not paid by the date stated the charge may increase by 50%.

Bus Lane Enforcement

Vehicles that drive, park or stop in Stockton's bus lanes may be recorded by CCTV cameras.

Stockton Council will issue Penalty Charge Notices to people who illegally use bus lanes. The scheme was piloted in Stockton High Street and is now being extended to other busy routes with bus lanes.

This scheme helps make our public transport system as reliable and punctual as possible. Our bus lanes provide a clear route for buses; pedal cycles and other limited authorised vehicles, although priority is given to buses.

Reduced congestion makes the roads safer for pedestrians and cyclists.

Bus lane charges

The charge is £60, reduced to £30 if paid within 14 days. If either an appeal or payment is not received within 28 days then the fine will increased to £90.

View the Council's Parking Enforcement Policy.

Further information about Civil Enforcement including Penalty Charge Notices and Notice to Owner can be found on the Patrol UK website.
