There are various ways you can pay your Business Rates to Stockton Council.
Business Rates are payable in ten or twelve monthly instalments from April. You can choose to pay yearly if you wish.
We will then arrange for your payments to be collected from your bank account. Alternatively to arrange your direct debit over the telephone, please call 01642 397108.
You can pay by cheque or cash at any one of our cash offices located at Billingham Library and Customer Service Centre, Thornaby Library and Customer Service Centre and Stockton Central Library and Customer Service Centre.
Opening hours are Monday to Friday between 9am to 4pm (Stockton and Thornaby offices open at 8.30am on a Monday).
Please make your cheques, money orders and postal orders payable to Stockton Borough Council and post to:
Stockton Borough Council, PO Box 500, Stockton-on-Tees, TS18 1WA.
Your address and Non Domestic Rate account number should be written on the back of the cheque.
If you want a receipt posting back to you please enclose a stamped addressed envelope with your bill. Please allow seven days from posting for the payment to be credited to your Business Rate account.
To make payment via our 24 hour telephone payments line ring 0330 555 6780, select option 3 Business Rates, and follow the instructions given. Land line calls are charged at a local rate.
By BACS - Contact your bank and ask them to make payments on your behalf.

Please allow five working days for a payment to be credited to your account.
