Deadline looms for energy bill saving scheme
Residents in Stockton-on-Tees still have time to sign up to the Big Community Switch, which last year saw average annual savings reach £168.
Those who sign up will receive a personal offer showing how much they can save. Registration closes on July 3.
Since the scheme began, over 1,000 households are collectively saving in excess of £180,000 a year.
There is no cost or obligation to register or accept the offer received.
Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council has also teamed up with 'iChoosr' and 'Make It Cheaper' to help businesses or community groups secure a better energy deal.
