The Tees Valley Pathways Programme will support 8,698 young people aged 15 to 29 across the Tees Valley who are unemployed or inactive with the aim of progressing them into Education, Employment, Training or Self-Employment.
The programme is delivered by a consortium of organisations from the Public, Private and Voluntary Sector. The overall contract value is £25.38m with £9.52m from European Social Fund, £9.52m from Youth Employment Initiative and £6.34m of Match Funding. It is part-funded by the European Social Fund and supported under the Youth Employment Initiative.
Centrepoint provides a personalised programme to help people to find the right job. The service can help by developing skills and confidence, making links with companies who are looking for new recruits to join their teams. It offers an exciting programme of activities including visits to local employers, enterprise challenges and film making projects as well as access to online careers support and other resources to help clients prepare for the world of work.

Community Campus '87 offers construction related training and work experience. It provides voluntary sector support through work related training, work experience and apprenticeship opportunities. Community Campus '87 also provides one to one support with job searches, universal job match and applications; and weekly jobs lunch club.

Five Lamps is an experienced mentor that will work closely with clients to move them into employment, self employment and identify training courses. It provide essential tools and equipment to prepare clients for self employment as well as financial assistance with employment related costs such as interview clothes.

The Groundwork North East Youth Team work across Tees Valley providing support to progress people into employment, education and training. It offers one to one support and an exciting set of activities which will provide new skills and valuable experience. The Service offers a Pathway Programme providing opportunities to gain a qualification while receiving practical experience within sectors such as Horticulture, Youth Work, Marketing, Manufacturing and Business Admin.

It provides sector and industry specific training leading to apprenticeships and work as well as helping to developing interview skills, completing applications, support with benefits and housing. Youth Direction offers a dedicated support worker who will provide targeted one to one support including advice and guidance to support people towards work, training and education.
