Safeguarding Forums

To support staff in Education Settings and the Community and Voluntary Sector, Safeguarding Forums have been established and are well attended. Further details in respect of the Education Settings Forums can be obtained from the Safeguarding Information for Schools page of the Council website and Catalyst for the Voluntary and Community Sector.

 

Helpline for footballers who have experienced sexual abuse

The NSPCC, supported by the Football Association (FA) has launched a free, 24 hour helpline to offer support to anyone who was sexually abused in football as a child.
