Celebrate Stockton/Darlington Railway at new specialist market
Railway enthusiasts across Stockton-on-Tees and beyond can celebrate in style at a themed market to mark the 192nd birthday of the Stockton and Darlington Railway.

The exciting new specialist market will take place on Stockton High Street on Saturday (23 September) from 10am to 4pm and has been organised by the Friends of Stockton & Darlington Railway in partnership with Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council.
The free event will host a range of exhibitors and traders selling and showing railway related gifts and memorabilia, a photography exhibition and interactive model railways.
There will also be sweet treats from Chintzy Cakes, a children's craft area provided by Locomotion Shildon, face painting, a special land train offering free rides from 10:30am until 3:30pm, and several opportunities to watch the Stockton Flyer emerge from its plinth!
