Adventure play areas, skate parks, all-weather ball courts and outdoor gyms; there are lots of places to play, exercise and have fun in the outdoors - whatever your age.

The biggest play areas are at Wynyard Woodland Park, Romano Park, Ropner Park, John Whitehead Park and Preston Park. However, there are over 40 other play areas in parks, country parks and other green spaces across the Borough.

We also have 14 multi-use games areas (MUGAs) which can be used for all kinds of informal ball games, and two fantastic skate parks at John Whitehead Park and Preston Park.   If you want to enjoy some other exercise in the open air then why not try the outdoor gyms at John Whitehead Park and in Grangefield Park.
