Stockton Central Library is the largest public library serving the Borough of Stockton-on-Tees. The ground floor incorporates Stockton Borough Council's Customer Service Centre and Cashiers, the adult lending library and the children's library.
The first floor houses the Reference Library which is the main reference department for the Borough, the Family History Suite, the Computer Suite which offers free internet and WiFi access and also the 'Starbooks' Cafe.
The Jim Cooke Conference Suite can be booked for meetings and events.
Monday, Wednesday and Friday: 8.30am - 6pm
Tuesday and Thursday: 8.30am - 8pm
Saturday: 9.30am - 4pm
All our libraries are closed on Bank and Public Holidays.

There are parking spaces for disabled drivers opposite the library with kerb ramps for wheelchairs. There is an easily accessible toilet for disabled users. Lift facilities are available up to the first floor and the Library Conference Facilities have a hearing loop to aid the hearing impaired.
