Connecting Yarm

The Levelling Up Funding will also deliver an improved cycle link to connect key employment sites and surrounding residential areas with Yarm high street and Preston Park to reduce reliance on car travel and reduce congestion.

This would deliver around 9 kilometres of new cycle infrastructure for residents and visitors:

• A67: 2.3 kilometres  in length.
• Durham Lane: 4.6 kilometres  in length.
• Yarm Road: 2.9 kilometres  in length.
• The Spital: 1.9 kilometres in length.
