Day Centres provide a friendly and sociable environment for older members of the community who, for various reasons find it more difficult to get out and about by themselves.

There’s a wide range of day services for adults in a range of different settings, providing to the needs and interests of the people using the service.

 

The Halcyon Centre

Central Stockton Day Service (Adults with Learning Disabilities)

Central Stockton Day Service provides a range of opportunities for people with learning disabilities which are designed to maintain and where possible to develop skills which can be used in everyday life. Allensway Learning Disability Resource Centre

Allensway Learning Disability Resource Day Centre is a day care centre for people with learning disabilities. Allensway offers 95 clients, a day service, 5 days a week. The service is mainly buildings based offering support to client who present complex needs. Allensway also works in the local community and Stockton Business unit. LiveWell Dementia Hub

The LiveWell Dementia Hub is a unique community based service for anyone living in Stockton-on-Tees who would like information, support or training related to dementia. This includes people with dementia, their families and carers as well as anyone else who would like to learn more about the condition.

The Hub environment has been designed to better support people with dementia and offers a calm space where you can access:

  • Up-to-date information about dementia and the services and support available locally
  • Support groups and social activities for people with dementia and carers
  • Memory service appointments
  • Information and training for anyone wanting to know more about dementia
