We offer an effective and inexpensive solution to remove bulky items from your home address. Our service operates on a Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Collections of different types of items may be on different dates, but you will be able to view / select the dates you prefer upon making the online request. Further information on the types of collection is detailed in the Collection Times section of these terms and conditions.
We will ask for the payment at the time you make the online request. Please note we do not charge handling fees for Debit or Credit cards.
We charge £15.00 for up to 6 bulky household items. All items that are for removal need to be listed. This is to avoid any items being taken by mistake, If any of the items you would like removing are not listed, we ask you to email firstname.lastname@example.org so we can arrange for a quote.
If any of the items you would like collecting are not listed, please email email@example.com with a detailed list of the items you would like removing along with the location they can be seen should we need to do a site visit before advising on the charge.
We would normal carry out a quote within 48 hours and once the payment has been made, the items are generally collected within 24 hours.
At the time of making your on-line booking you will initially be presented with the earliest day we can collect your items, upon successful payment, you can then amend this date to suit. Collections of different types of items may be on different dates, but you will be able to view at the time of making your booking.
Please note we offer our bulky waste service on Tuesdays, Wednesday, Thursday and Fridays.
Due to environmental legislation, collection vehicles may differ depending on the type of bulky household waste that you have to remove, therefore when making your booking you may be allocated two different collection dates.
Collections will take place between the hours of 7am and 4pm on your confirmed collection day.
The collection will take place from the most accessible point of the property, usually your wheelie bin collection point. In the majority of cases this will be at the front of your property. Unless your property backs onto an alley way then this is where the items ideally should be left for collection.
Please ensure that items are left for collection at the edge of your property and do not leave them on roads or pathways. Please note under no circumstances can our collection staff enter houses or garages. All items must be left outside.
If your back garden is the only place you can leave the items for collection, and you generally have this secured by a locked gate, then please ensure that you unlock the gate so our collection team can gain access. All items listed for collection must easily fit through any gates or passage ways.
Please make sure any dogs are kept inside your property, when our operatives are carrying out the collection.
Please present your items no earlier that the evening before as our collections take place between the hours of 7am and 4pm on your confirmed collection day.
Stowage of items for collection such at Mattresses and sofas should not be put out too far ahead of collection day; due to certain weather conditions these items can become very wet and heavy. Therefore we ask should you be requesting such an item to be taken, please ensure that these are suitably covered should weather conditions be poor, a simple plastic sheet covering them would help.
If an item becomes wet and too heavy to move, this item will not be collected, and no refund will be given
Items such as Fridges/Freezers must be empty, otherwise they will not be removed
When leaving household items out for collection please ensure they are stored safely and securely so as not to expose others to harm, especially young children.
Please ensure the area specified for collection is clean and clear of any Dog Foul, failure to do so will result in the collection being cancelled and no refund will be given.

Please note items such as Carpets/ Lino must be in one roll under 6ft in height or bagged. Each roll/bag would be classed as one item.
Cancellation/Changes to items and dates can be made by Telephone only by contacting our Care for your area team Tel: 01642 391959.
Please note Cancellations/Changes can only be made up to 4pm on the working day before the collection. Cancellation/Changes cannot be made after this time.
If items are not ready in the specified location on the collection date/times given, a refund will not be issued. A new booking would have to be made and payed for as we will not return a second time to collect the items on the original booking.
In some cases scrap men may remove some or all the items before we can collect, however please be aware that no refunds for booked collections are available unless cancellation takes place before 4pm on the working days before the scheduled collection date.
