External Funding Service

Welcome to the External Funding pages of the Stockton Borough Council website. These pages aim to provide you with information on the services available through the External Funding Team and associated partners.

The External Funding Team is situated within the Regeneration and Economic Development department of the Council and its primary role is to provide assistance on the range of European, National Lottery and other external funding programmes that are not available through the core Council budgets. More information on each of these funding sources can be viewed by accessing the links on the left-hand side.

To achieve this, the following services are provided:

Grantfinder - This is an online grant database that allows the External Funding Team to search for grant or loan funding according to the specific needs of your organisation.

Grantnet - This is an online database that allows individuals, groups and organisations to search for funding by using criteria that meets their particular needs. The criteria is passed to the funding team who will be able to provide further detail if required.

Funding Newsletter - This is produced on a quarterly basis and contains up-to-date information on the current funding opportunities available for public, community and voluntary organisations.

Application Advice - The External Funding Team can provide technical support and interpretation for people applying for funding from an external source where there is a direct link to Council priorities.

Partnership with SRCGA - The team works in close partnership with Stockton Residents and Community Groups Association (SRCGA) to ensure that everyone has access to a wide range of funding support and advice. SRCGA are able to provide direct support to community groups and offer the information and expertise of their team.
