The Community Cohesion Strategy supports the Borough's sustainable Community Strategy with the central theme of "promoting achievement and tackling disadvantage".

Stockton Council and its partners are committed to supporting community cohesion across the Borough. We recognise we have a big role to play in managing and driving through the changes necessary to ensure the Borough's communities remain cohesive into the future. Each member of the Partnership is committed to a vision of a unified Borough and will be targeting actions to improve cohesion and ensure that all members of the community irrespective of their race, religion/belief or any other factor are treated fairly and equitably.

We updated Stockton Renaissance's Community Cohesion Strategy for 2009 and will shortly unveil an updated strategy for 2011.
