Elections

This part of our website will give you information about elections in the Borough.

Your vote counts

To make sure that your voice is heard at any Local, Parliamentry and European elections you need to be on the Electoral Register. The Electoral Register is updated annually during August to November. For more information select the "Electoral Registration" link. If you are not sure that you are registered to vote, you can check with the Electoral Registration Office.

Voting is 'easy-peasy lemon squeezy' at a polling station

Take the mystery out of what happens at a polling station and do not let fear of the unknown stop you from voting. Have a look at our 'Guide to voting at a Polling Station' and see how easy it is to vote.
