Welcome to my web pages
I am 47 years old and have lived in Ingleby Barwick for 6 years. I am a Team Member with more than 30 years public/private service experience. I was first elected to Stockton Borough Council in May 2005.
Since leaving school in 1977 I have spent over 30 years working for Corus formally known as British Steel. I am currently a school Governor at All Saints School. I live in Lowfields and am happily married to Pat who works at James Cook Hospital. We have two children, Sara and James. My daughter's pastimes include ladies football and TA and my son's include football, karate, golf and also Maltby Cricket club. My son and I are both members of Ingleby Barwick Golf Club. As a family we are very interested in the provision of local sports facilities, especially for children.
Over the last three years, I have been very busy, mainly with planning issues in our community and villages. In this short space of time I am delighted with the progress made in Ingleby Barwick, including the provision of the mobile skate park and two toucan crossings. The first crossing on Ingleby Way will help children and parents from Beckfields to cross safely towards Whinstone School. The second crossing is now completed near the Myton House Pub and assists children attending All Saints School to get there safely.
My main areas of concern for my ward include: -
The road network & transport, education provision, youth, community and leisure facilities.
I endeavour to represent the views of all the residents of Ingleby Barwick, High Leven, Hilton and Maltby to the best of my ability.
