Following my retirement, having previously been employed with four local authorities throughout the North East, I have represented Hartburn Ward since 1999, together with the late Cllr. Smailes, and now with Cllr Terry Laing.

Having been a soccer referee for 33 years officiating on The Football League and controlling games from as far as Venice and Hungary to the wilds of Keilder Forrest I still like to keep fit with regular rounds of golf and running half marathons. (It helps when delivering our regular "In Touch" newsletters).
