Art of Safety Comptetition
Cleveland Police 'Art of Safety' "Feel safe be Safe" competition is open to 300 schools and groups in Cleveland. As a Governor for Glebe Primary School, I was delighted to be invited to the award ceremony at the Police Headquarters when Joel Pitchers was presented with his certificate as one of the three KS1 entry finalists, by Chief Constable Sean Price. The photograph shows a very proud Joel with the Chief Constable and the Ward Councillors.

I have been a Stockton Council representative on the Hartlepool Power Station Community Liaison Council for many years.

One Saturday morning in July I took Ann along to a community consultation at the Historic Quayside where British Energy was holding a community consultation event.

I was able to introduce Ann to the current station director Richard Bradfield, beside him are Press Officer Martin Butlin and UNITE's NPLC representative Peter Lawton.
