Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council Work
I was first elected to Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council on the 3rd of May 1979.
I was Mayor from April 2004 to May 2005
I am currently the Cabinet Member for the Environment and Vice Chair of the Standards (Parish & Independent Representatives) Appointment Panel. I am a member of the following committees - Planning, Local Development Framework Steering Group, Markets Forum and the Parish Council Liaison Forum. I am also deputy leader of the conservative group on Stockton Borough Council and am a member of a number of outside bodies including the Tees Valley Environmental Protection Group and the Stockton Renaissance Health and Wellbeing Partnership.
