Monday AM : To the Destiny Centre for a conference on funding priorities for The Local Strategic Partnership
PM : To the Tabernacle for a regular monthly meeting of the Over 50's Assembly
Evening: To the Town Hall for a meeting with Council colleagues to prepare for the forthcoming Council meeting
Tuesday AM : To Middlesbrough Town Hall for a meeting of the Tees Valley Health Scrutiny Joint Committee - in the Chair as the Chairman could not attend
PM : To the Library Hall to chair a meeting of the Stockton Home Safety association
Evening: To Norton for a meeting of Trustees of Norton Educational Foundation to distribute financial grants to suitable applicants
Wednesday AM: Delivering ward newsletters "DOORSTEP" around Norton West Ward
PM: To Blakeston School for a committee meeting of the governing body
Evening: To The Town Hall for a full Council meeting
Thursday AM: To the Stadium of Light with other councillors from NE Region to a health event describing the strategies adopted by Sunderland to tackle Obesity
PM: To Roseworth for the first meeting of the new Rosebrook school governing body
Evening: Meeting with other Norton councillors and residents to discuss local issues
Friday AM: To Castlegate Quay conference room for a 4 hour training event on how to scrutinise health services
PM: To the Glebe Shopping Parade for a photo call with the community police team and the local press
Evening: To a Charity night with Marske Fishermen' s Choir to raise money for the monthly Fusion Cafe - afternoon tea for sufferers of dementia and their carers
The weekends are spent catching up on paperwork, seeing residents, walking the ward with newsletters, reading reports and preparing for meetings coming up in the following week.
It's a busy life - but never dull!
