Please read this page before downloading any datasets from the Stockton-on-Tees Data Warehouse.

The 'Stockton-on-Tees Data Warehouse' contains datasets (tables of statistics and information) from a number of different sources. Datasets from third party sources are subject to copyright or database right.

The majority of datasets have been reproduced under theOpen Government Licence(OGL) which applies to material subject to Crown Copyright. Anyone wishing to use or re-use a dataset made available under the OGL, either commercially or privately, may do so freely without a specific application for a licence, subject to the conditions of the OGL.

Please note some datasets may have not been reproduced under the OGL. In these cases, authorisation must be obtained from the copyright holders concerned.

In all cases, when a dataset is downloaded from the Warehouse, an attribution statement must be used.

The Warehouse's data updates calendar provides information about all of the datasets within the Data Warehouse. Each individual dataset also provides useful information in its metadata section (this is a worksheet within each download which provides useful information about the data in question).
