As a result of consultations that included Viewpoint, the Winter Garden at Preston Hall is now completed.

Many panel members asked about interactive displays and touch screens. As a result of this two touch screen information points have been installed, showing a video of the museum and displays for visitors with access problems.

Two new sets of dressing-up clothes have been bought and presented as new displays. A new display is also available about the Saxons and Viking Stones.

Many of you made suggestions about the shop. We now have local people selling jewellery and craft items.

A new display area has been made next to 'The Dice Players'.

A wheelchair lift has been installed to gain access to the lower floor.
