Service Delegation Schemes
Each Council Service Group has agreed a scheme of delegation for its
services, based on the scheme of delegation in the Constitution.
The service delegation schemes specify how, and on what basis, the Director
of Service's delegation powers in the Constitution Scheme of Delegation are
delegated onwards to other Officers within the Director's service area.
This provides an audit trail from the decision-making authorisation/power
in the Constitution to the Officer making the decision in any given
instance and vice versa.
