This website is run by Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council. We regard your privacy as important and can confirm that we will comply with the Data Protection Act 1998.

We will only hold any information you send us for as long as necessary. All employees who have access to your personal data and are associated with the handling of that data are obliged to respect the confidentiality of your data. All communications to us are protected against unauthorised access by third parties, however if your communication relates to or affects a third party the Council will refer your communication to that third party for their comments, response or information.

Your personal information may be used by us to occasionally notify you about important functionality changes to our website and new Council services we think you will find valuable, or to find out what you think about our services.

You may ask for a copy of any information the Council holds about you. If you wish to do this please complete a Subject Access Request Form (available at the bottom of this page) and send the completed form together with the £10 fee (made payable to Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council) to D. E. Bond, Director of Law and Democracy, Municipal Buildings, Church Road, Stockton-on-Tees, TS18 1LD. We will respond within forty days.

We try to keep the information we have about you accurate and up to date. However, if you find errors or inaccuracies in your data we will erase, complete or amend that information upon request.
