About Stockton's Hall of Fame
Stockton Council is keen to recognise its heritage and the contribution to this made by individuals who were born in the Borough; and/or were recognised for their work, or an event, which took place here.
A Commemoration Working Group has therefore been established to consider any nominations received, proposing that the lives of particular individuals be commemorated.
Nominations received should state, in the persons' own words the following:
- Level of Importance of the Individual - The impact level of them, or their achievements and their consequent notoriety, being judged local, regional, national or international.
- Relevance to Stockton-on-Tees - What is their connection to Stockton-on-Tees?
You can send nominations to us using the Hall of Fame contact details.
Details of those persons the Working Group has chosen to recognise (in an appropriate manner that it will determine in the near future) will feature online.
