The Billingham Partnership

The Billingham Partnership covers the areas of Billingham, Wynyard, Wolviston and outlying areas.

The Chair of this Partnership (Geoff Harrison, Low Grange Residents Association) represents the Billingham Partnership on Stockton Renaissance, this ensures residents in the Billingham Partnership boundary are represented in the decision making structure for the Borough.

Membership

The Board's membership is currently comprised of twenty representatives, which are drawn from

the following two sectors:

? Voluntary and Community Sector - 15 members

? Public and Private Sector - 10 members

Each member is considered an equal and active partner and holds office for a fixed period of 2 years, commencing 1st April.

The Billingham Partnership Board is responsible for -

  • Advising and supporting Stockton Renaissance in the development and implementation of regeneration programmes, through delegated powers provided by Stockton Renaissance.
  • Providing a local area based forum to consider Stockton-wide regeneration issues and to assist Stockton Renaissance in the development and implementation of a regeneration strategy for the Borough.
