PRESTON Park plays host so a roadshow this weekend to raise awareness of renewable energy opportunities within the household.

You can head along between 10am and 3pm on Sunday, 9 September, to talk to advisors and manufacturers and watch demonstrations of the very latest energy and heating technology at the Renewable Home Energy Roadshow.

There will be a host of information about grants, wind turbines, solar thermal heating, planning and building control and rainwater recycling.

Councillor Jennie Beaumont, Stockton Council's Cabinet Member for the Environment, said: "If you are serious about saving energy - and money - in the home, then head along to this roadshow and find out how you can do your bit for the environment as well as your pocket."
