What is the Local Strategic Partnership Board?

The Stockton Renaissance Partnership Board brings together the different parts of the public sector as well as private, business, community and voluntary sectors to work together to promote economic, environmental and social well being.  The meetings are public meetings. 

Role and function

Stockton Renaissance draws together representatives to ensure that service providers meet local needs and priorities by planning and working together effectively.

Stockton Renaissance prepares the Sustainable Community Strategy and it's Delivery Plan.

The Stockton Renaissance Partnership Board strives to tackle key issues in the borough with a commitment to hold a number of themed sessions throughout the year.  Themed sessions and events have been held focussing on Family Poverty, Alcohol and the Economy, with further sessions being planned.

Membership

The current membership of Stockton Renaissance is comprised of: voluntary and community sector, local ward councillors, members of parliament, business sector and public sector bodies.
