Get involved... with volunteering

An army of volunteers and community workers are making a real difference to life across the borough.

To find out more about the work of these volunteers (and those who benefit from their work) officers from the engagement team recently arranged to speak with a range of people who give up their time for the benefit of others.

From school governors to members of local residents' groups, the interviews that were undertaken give a real insight into the immense impact volunteers have on everyday life across a range of service areas like health and wellbeing, education, training and employment.
