People Linking at Newtown Together AGM at St Paul's Church
We arrived at the wrong church in Newtown, but that didn't make much
difference as it was on the way to St. Paul's Church. Marjorie and I were
greeted at St Paul's Church by Reverend Derek Rosamond, who we have known
for a while. We had a cup of coffee and a buffet lunch before the AGM
started and we were shown a video of the work done by the People Linking
Group in the Newtown area. It was then the AGM proper and this didn't take
very long. After the AGM I was asked to say a few words of encouragement to
the group. I found out that they have worked with Cornerhouse, which is one
of my charities. We had photographs taken before it was time to leave and
say goodbye to everyone.
