I did manage to turn up to do my stint of voluntary work, in between numerous crises, and issues I really couldn't have invented, along with more preparation for the special Council meeting that night to set the budget.
In a quick trip into the High Street I walked along Wellington Square - how nice to see the pictures of paintings that children had done for the Britain In Bloom Calendar competition still up. I called in at the Town Centre Regeneration display, and now have an "e" link to the consultation on how the Town Centre and area around it will look in the future. You can click the link and have a go.
After an enormous amount of preparation by everyone the meeting took place, and the budget is now set.
Councillors will represent you regardless of political persuasion. This site has been provided to the Councillor by the Local Authority.
