Fostering - can YOU make a difference?
On average four children a week come into the care of Stockton Council. As we enter foster care fortnight we're looking for more foster carers to help provide the stability and support children need to secure a better future. Tee off and land a shot on the Tees
The 2012 Stockton Golf Challenge will now take place on Friday, 25 May, after it was postponed due to bad weather last month. Join us and see if you can land a shot on our floating green from the Riverside - it's just £1 a shot with proceeds to the Mayor's charities. Clubs and balls will be provided.
Olympic countdown
The Olympic flame passes through Stockton and Billingham on Sunday, 17 June - marking the final countdown to the greatest sporting event the country will host in our lifetime.
