- Business Administration
- Child Care
- Care
- Retail & Warehousing
- Joinery
- Maintenance Operations
We are able to offer free training to anyone between the ages of 16 and 24. They will then follow an approved and nationally accredited Apprenticeship Framework including NVQ level 2 or 3. We can also offer any employee within your company aged 19 plus an NVQ level 2 qualification under the Train to Gain initiative, free of charge, over a maximum 12 month period, if they meet the requirements.
Entry to Employment (E2E)
We also offer the Entry to Employment programme which is aimed at young people aged 16-18 who are not participating in any form of post-16 learning. It is designed to help them to develop their motivation and confidence, personal effectiveness and basic and key skills, and to give them a range of opportunities to gain vocational knowledge, skills and understanding. The aim is that they will progress into an Apprenticeship, further learning and/or a job.
Wages and Allowances
Learners receive the Educational Maintenance Allowance (EMA) of up to £30 per week and various bonuses. Employed Apprentices receive a wage from the employing company and depending on the wage rate, may have to pay income tax and national insurance.
Training Services For Private Customers
Where candidates are not eligible to access Train to Gain or Apprenticeship courses, Training and Employment Services deliver private training at competitive costs for NVQ level 2s and 3s.
We have consistently achieved high grades from our Awarding Bodies (City & Guilds and OCR) who quality assure the delivery of our qualifications and award certification.
Employment on trial
We have many young people who are interested in and seeking employment who would be available for a 6 week trial period. If they prove themselves within this period and you decide to offer them employment, the weekly wage requirement would be £80.00 for one year, as they would be studying towards an Employer Led Apprenticeship.
