My parents are on benefits, will I qualify for a bus pass?

If your parents receive one of the following benefits you will qualify for a free bus pass. They will need to provide proof of benefit when you apply for the pass.

The benefits are:

• Income support
• Income based jobseekers allowance
• Support under part VI of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999
• The Guarantee Element of State Pension
• Child Tax Credit (provided they are not entitled to a Working Tax Credit their annual income does not exceed £15,575* (as assessed by Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs). *This amount could change without notice.
