What is a Parent and Toddler group?

A Parent & Toddler groups is a group of parents/carers with pre-school age children. Parents/carers remain with the children throughout the session and this gives them a chance to speak to other parents/carers and the children a chance to interact with others of a similar age.

Groups may be run by playgroup staff, volunteers, childminders or the parents/carers themselves.

Parent & Toddler groups are all different so visit a few to see which will best suit you and your child. You can attend as many groups as you wish.

Parent & Toddler groups do not have to be registered with OfSTED. |This is because parents/carers are with their children at all times and therefore not a childcare provision.

There is usually a minimal charge per session to cover the cost of refreshments.
