How do I hold an event in Stockton town centre?

Stockton town centre is a place where there is always something going on, and that means there are opportunities for everyone who would like to promote their cause by holding an event. However, as the town centre is also used by many people, events must be properly planned and delivered safely.

What to do

If you have an idea for an event or promotion, the first thing to do is to contact the Town Centre Management office. We will give you some guidance, and talk you through some of the key things you need to think about. We will then send you a form to complete, which tells us more about what you are planning to do and enables us to decide if you need any special permissions or licences, and to check if there is anything else planned for that day already. One thing we will definitely ask you for is proof of Public Liability insurance, which the Council has determined must be at least £5m.
