Do I need an appointment to obtain a birth, death or marriage certificate?

No, but if you can, telephone ahead to check that we have the entry. You can order your certificate over the phone if you have a credit or debit card. If we do not have the entry, we will be able to give you contact details for other Register Offices that may hold it.
