What price are birth, death or marriage certificates?
Certificates issued from a registrar's current register at time of
registration are £3.50 each. The cost increases to £7.00 after the time of
registration. Certificates issued from registers in the custody of the
Superintendent Registrar will cost £9.00 each for a full birth, death or
marriage certificate; a short birth certificate will cost £9.00
For a passport application for a person born after 1 January 1983, a full
birth certificate is required
