Registering a death

Can I register a death outside of the Borough?

Yes, by making a declaration before any Registrar of Births and Deaths in England or Wales. No certificates will be issued when making the declaration - the information is forwarded to the appropriate Register Office, who then issue the relevant certificates by return of post.
