How do I report a faulty streetlight?

We maintain over 25,500 street lights and about 2,500 illuminated sign and bollards on our highways, roads and footpaths. We work closely with our electricity suppliers and aim to rectify supply faults as quickly as possible.

We carry out regular checks to ensure lamps are working correctly. Between October and March, we inspect the lights on our highways every two weeks. From April to September these are checked every four weeks.

If you know of a faulty light, please report it to us. We will need to know the exact location of the light, the nature of the fault and if possible the number of the light (which is on the light column)- the sooner we know the quicker it will be repaired.

If there is a problem contact us (see "Who to Contact").
