Why do I need to issue a tenancy agreement?

The issuing of tenancy agreements is not only a legislative requirement it is also extremely good practice.

We require you to issue an agreement which contains a clause on anti-social behaviour. By doing so it will reinforce with the tenant that anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated and also assist you in the eviction process of a tenant should that be deemed necessary. A tenancy agreement containing this clause can be provided for such use if you request.
