What is Enhanced Home Improvement Assistance?

Enhanced Home Improvement Assistance is one of several new policies that have been developed by the Council to encourage owners to invest in the upkeep and improvement of their homes.

Enhanced Home Improvement Assistance and other financial products developed will replace the home renovation grants the Council currently provides.

The objective of Enhanced Home Improvement Assistance is to encourage owners to invest in their homes and by doing so bring their homes up to the Government's Decent Homes Standard. By improving their homes we envisage owners will not only be living in a healthier environment, but also contributing towards making their neighbourhood more sustainable and a better place to live.
