Are there different types of supported housing?

There are many different supported housing schemes and services available within the Borough. Examples of services funded under the Supporting People programme include:

  • Sheltered housing for older people
  • Alarm call services
  • Hostels for Homeless people
  • Supported housing for people with Learning Disabilities
  • Supported housing for people with Mental Health problems
  • Hostel for women fleeing Domestic Violence
  • Housing support for Offenders
  • Housing support for Young people at Risk
  • Housing support for people misusing Drugs and Alcohol
