How much do I have to pay?

If you are staying in a homeless hostel or bed and breakfast you will have to complete a Housing Benefit claim form if you are not working, or if you earn a low wage (the Homeless Officer will usually complete the form for you. Please ask them if they have not done so). You will be asked to pay the difference between your Housing Benefit entitlement and the actual rent.
