If a property is open for access, what can Environmental Health do?
If the property is open for access, and there is an accumulation of waste material, Environmental Health can investigate the owner of the property. If we do not receive cooperation, we can serve Notice to require the building is secured and the waste material is removed.
If the property is open for access and there is no waste material, Private Sector Housing will investigate and arrange for the property to be secured.
