Who are the school governors and what do they do?
Each school has its own governing body, which plays an important role in the strategic management of the school. The governing body is made up of a cross-section of the local community and includes parent representatives of children at the school. Parent governors have an important part to play in the work of the governing body.
Being a governor can be both interesting and rewarding. If you would like more information, please contact our School and Governor Support Section on 01642 526460. Alternatively, to access information online, and also the online prospective governor application form, please follow this link.
