My child is going into Primary School soon, am I entitled to travelling costs?

If your child is going to the admission-zone primary school and the school is two miles or more from your home, then you are eligible for help with travel costs. (The distance between your home and the
school is measured by a computer programme using the shortest safe walking distance.) The Community Transport Team (CTT) will organise transport. You can phone them on 01642 527117.

There are new regulations in place which allows free transport in certain circumstances for families on low incomes. Please contact Community Transport on 527117 for more information or look at the document attached below.
