At what age will my child start in primary school?

By law children do not have to go to school until the beginning of the term after their fifth birthday.

From September 2009 there will only be one intake for primary school.

If you want to delay the start of your child going to school until the term after his or her fifth birthday, you can still apply now for a place. If you are successful getting a place at that school, it will be held open for your child until the appropriate time.
If you would like to discuss this, please contact the Admissions Officer on 01642 526605 or look at our page on admissions www.stockton.gov.uk/schooladmissions
