How does the nursery school my child goes to affect my entitlement to a place in a primary school?

The nursery your child goes to does not entitle him or her to a place in that primary school. This is because nursery places are not statutory but admission to primary school is.
Sometimes, there are more parents wanting a primary school place than there are spaces. In these cases, we give primary school places according to the conditions given in the Primary Admissions booklet.
You should remember this when deciding on the nursery place for your child.
